One of the realities of life is that we are living in a changing environment. Seasons change, people come and go, and our life experiences are constantly being altered. We regularly spend so much of our time trying to achieve our goals and arrange our lives in the manner we desire, that we hold onto pleasant situations by avoiding unpleasant ones. Often, what is good lasts and what is difficult ends quickly; at other times, the reverse is true. Sometimes, we find that we need support to manage our stress levels and cope with life changes or explore areas of personal growth and development. We may also need guidance to deal with parental challenges, trauma and emotional distress or to investigate our child’s scholastic problems.
