The initiative and inspiration for this practice came about by Keshnie Lalbahadur after working in diverse fields gaining expertise in psychological assessment and psychotherapy. She has cross sector exposure and knowledge of psychological crises and organizational issues. Keshnie has a keen interest in a broad range of psychological problems affecting adults, adolescents and children.
Keshnie has 15 years’ experience in working as a psychologist and has worked within the Employee Wellness sector, Umsobomvu Youth Fund and Child/Adolescent field. She brings strong clinical experience from being in private practice for several years working extensively with individuals experiencing difficulty in their daily lives. She has also been involved in MBA postgraduate dissertation supervision and moderation, and the development and facilitation of skills-based programmes.
In addition to working at the practice in Sandton, Keshnie does out-patient work at the Akeso Psychiatric Clinic.
Keshnie is a registered Counselling Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. Having completed a BA (Hons) and Postgraduate Diploma (Psychology) qualifications, she then went on to complete a Master of Social Science (Psychology) degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
